Uri Stramer

Uri Stramer has been involved in the Canadian Jewish community ever since his immigration to Toronto at the age of 10, joining the Ken of Hashomer Hatzair youth movement. He has since gone on to represent Canada in the World Movement of Hashomer Hatzair, and sit on the Hanhagah Elyona of the movement during its World Veida of 2023. Uri continues to be active in the community, protesting in Toronto and in Israel for a ceasefire, the release of all hostages, and an end to the occupation. He studies guitar at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and continues to be politically involved in the Jewish community there, meeting with his American counterparts in Hashomer Hatzair, and continually involving himself in political life on campus.
