Toby King

Toby King (she/they) is a Queer-Jewish educator, student, poet, and performer born and raised in Toronto. She is an alumni of Habonim Dror Youth Movement, where she was embedded with a deep love of Israel, tikkun olam and shivyon erech ha’adam. They made aliyah in 2018 and are a proud Israeli citizen, having lived in both the bustling mixed-city of Haifa and the thriving spiritual centre of Jerusalem. She is a University of Toronto student and has been involved in multiple campus peace and dialogue groups such as Peace Now and Bridging the Gap. She loves baking, reading and hosting shabbat dinners! They are a lover of stories, a seeker of justice and a student of Torah; she is deeply invested in the unimaginable and inevitable liberated Jewish future.
