Sophie Hershfield

Sophie Hershfield is a PhD student at York University in Cinema and Media Studies. Originally from Winnipeg, she completed her Bachelors degree at the University of Winnipeg and worked in politics before moving to Toronto for her Masters. She has been involved in the Jewish community her whole life, as a leader in organizations including CJPAC, JSpace, and Camp Massad Manitoba, in addition to unofficial community organizing projects like Simcha Zine.
