Sara Dobner
Sara Dobner is an Israeli-Canadian who has been active in the Toronto Jewish community in various capacities for nearly 20 years. In 2017, she received the Shem Tov Award for her community contributions. Currently, she serves on the Israel Engagement Committee at UJA Toronto and is a member of Grassroots for Affordable Jewish Education (GAJE), advocating for government funding for Jewish schools in Ontario.

She holds a BA in Economics and Psychology and an MBA from Tel Aviv University. Three years ago, she retired from her role as a Senior Policy Advisor with the Ontario government. Since then, she has actively supported various pro-democracy initiatives in both Israel and Toronto.
Sara and her husband, Michael, have two daughters — one of whom made Aliyah to Israel following the events of October 7, 2023.
