Riki Adivi
I was raised in a village in Israel, where I was born. I served in the IDF and moved to Canada in 2006. I spent over thirty years working for a software company, where my most recent roles included business analyst, project manager, and team leader. During work time in Canada, I managed a team that was split between Toronto and India, and I established strong relationships with both the Indian and local teams.
Currently, I teach Israeli and international folk dancing at various locations in the Greater Toronto Area, and I also teach seated dancing for seniors' groups. I have been volunteering for the Israeli group "Eran," which offers Israelis emotional first aid, for the past five years. As if it were a typical local call, our team can take distressed calls from Israel via the Eran portal and offer emotional support.
