Rabbi Ryan Leszner
Rabbi Ryan Leszner serves as the Assistant Rabbi and Director of Jewish Living and Learning at Congregation Darchei Noam in Toronto. His work spans Child and Family Engagement, Service Leadership, and Community Outreach—including directing an innovative Hebrew School, leading inclusive prayer experiences, and providing pastoral care and adult education.
Rabbi Leszner is deeply committed to Jewish communal life beyond the synagogue. He serves as a Faith Leader at the University of Toronto’s Multifaith Centre, is a member of the Toronto Board of Rabbis, New Israel Fund of Canada’s Clergy Cabinet, and the Canadian Jewish Dialogue of Toronto. He is also a member of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Assembly, Hebrew College Clergy Alumni Association, and a current 18Doors Rabbinic Fellow.
Ordained at Hebrew College with specializations in Pastoral Care and Social Justice Leadership, he also holds a certificate in adolescent Jewish education and a B.A. in Jewish Studies. He lives in Toronto with his partner, Dalia, and their son, Asher.
