David Berson

Born in Vancouver and having lived 22 years in Israel where he served for 15 years in the IDF, David Berson is a seasoned communal professional who has served in multiple leadership roles in our community and in Israel.

In his volunteer life David is Chair of Ameinu Canada and is one of the leaders of the Hatikvah Canada slate in the upcoming elections for the CZF.  He is a veteran member of CIJA’s Local Partnership Council and an engaged member of Or Shalom.

David is a proud alumnus of Habonim Dror and a past director of Camp Miriam. He trained and studied at Hebrew University, University of Haifa and Ben Gurion University of the Negev.

David is married to Mary, has four adult children, and a Bernedoodle named Tashi.
