Daphna Kedem
Daphna Kedem is a passionate Canadian-Israeli activist who has spent the past 13 years in Canada advocating for justice, equality, and meaningful change. With deep roots in both Canada and Israel, she brings a personal and committed perspective to the causes she champions.
Her activism began in Vancouver as an organizer with Direct Action Everywhere, a global animal rights network based in Berkeley, California. From the start, Daphna’s work has centered on human rights, social justice, and women’s rights. She is known for her leadership in grassroots movements, her ability to mobilize communities, and her dedication to amplifying marginalized voices.
Daphna has been serving as the lead organizer of UnXeptable Vancouver, a movement of Israeli expats working to safeguard Israel’s democratic identity and civil society. She is also the head desk organizer for Bring Them Home Vancouver, part of the Hostages and Missing Families Forum, advocating for the safe return of all hostages and an end to the war. Her activism reflects a lifelong commitment to justice, freedom, and meaningful social change.
